Beth Erickson, Ph.D.
Biography
Dr. Beth M. Erickson received her Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. She then completed 2 years of postdoctoral training at The Family Institute of Chicago, which is part of Northwestern University.
She has written 2 books. Her first was Helping Men Change: The Role of the Female Therapist. Her second was Longing For Dad: Father Loss and Its Impact, which has also been published in the Czech and Chinese languages. She is working on her 3rd book, Aging Isn't For Sissies: Overcoming the Psychological and Spiritual Challenges To Vital Aging. In it, she discusses states unresolved losses as being a primary challenge to vital aging.
She conducts a therapy, coaching, and consulting practice in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area and by telephone nationally. Loss has been her primary clinical specalty for over 25 years.
