Elaine J. Amella, Ph.D., is the associate dean for Research & Evaluation and director of the doctoral program for the College of Nursing at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Amella also serves as the content expert for The Hartford Institute for Geriatric Nursing at New York University.
