The National Family Caregivers Association (NFCA) and the National Alliance for Caregiving (NAC)–leaders in the movement to better understand and assist family caregivers—have joined together to recognize, support, and advise this vital group of Americans.

Family caregivers have been part of America’s health care picture for a very long time. Yet, their roles and special needs are just being acknowledged.
