Nancy Snyderman, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Biography

Nancy L. Snyderman, M.D., joined Johnson & Johnson in January 2003 and is presently vice president of consumer education. She heads a new educational initiative, Understanding Health, which focuses on educating and informing the public about health and medicine. 

Dr. Snyderman is a cancer surgeon and has had appointments at the University of California-San Francisco and California-Pacific Medical Center.  She joined the Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Department at the University of Pennsylvania in January 2005. 

Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, Dr. Snyderman served as the medical correspondent for ABC News for 17 years and was a contributor to 20/20, Prime Time Thursday, and Good Morning America.

Dr. Snyderman has reported on wide-ranging medical topics affecting both men and women. She has traveled the world and has reported from many of the world’s most troubled areas.
