P.M. Kearns

Biography

A long-term around-the-clock intensive caregiver for her mother, author/speaker Patty M. Kearns offers practical advice for overcoming the multiple challenges and ongoing exhaustion faced by caregivers of all kinds.

Kearns shares these insights based on her book, Lessons in the Divine for Caregivers, a Spiritual Buffet for The Totally Exhausted. She calls it a primer on empathy building and compassion.

Drawing from her expertise as an award-winning corporate communications professional, Kearns translates the tough issues caregivers face into real-world advice. Her background is in internal and external communications for large national and multinational healthcare and consumer goods organizations in a broad spectrum of industries.

Kearns holds awards in human diversity, community relations, and healthcare advertising. She is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, summa cum laude.

A poet, artist, creator of stress reduction programs, national healthcare writer, and an author of stories for the popular Chicken Soup for The Soul series of books, P. M. Kearns readies a banquet for caregivers that is both refreshingly simple and memorable.
