anant's Story

I was eldest of the family of nine. My mom became mentally ill when I was ten and I had taken her for treatment and by 1960 I had to take her to the mental institute at Purasavakkam, Chennai and admit her as a patient. she passed away in 1963. I left India in 1961 and came to U.S.A in 1977 and I want to get back to India and work as a volunteer at the Mental health institute at Chnnai in memory of my mother and visit the Rosylyn carter Institute to learn the basic for caring the mentally disturbed people. I am an U.S. citizen and visit India every year. thanks Anant
