ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE

Types

Alzheimer’s disease is made up of early-stage, mid-stage, and late- stage. Some doctors describe the stages in terms of severity and will refer to mild, moderate, moderately severe, and severe Alzheimer’s disease.

If you suspect your loved one has Alzheimer’s disease, please see your health care professional as soon as possible. This is very important, because there are medications that may help delay or slow the progression of the disease.
