  • Healthy Eating for Seniors
  • Power Foods For You & Your Loved Ones
  • Seniors Farmers Market Nutrition Program
  • Meatless Monday is a national public health campaign associated with Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and supported by 28 other leading schools of public health.  A not-for-profit service organization, Meatless Monday advocates a sensible approach to healthy eating, encouraging Americans to adopt a more "flexitarian" diet that's rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains and low in saturated fat. The goal of the campaign – consistent with recommendations by the US Department of Agriculture, US Department of Health and Human Services and American Heart Association  –  is to help Americans reduce their saturated fat intake by 15%. Going meatless just one day a week can greatly reduce your risk of heart attack, stroke, diabetes, and cancer – four of the leading causes of death for Americans today. Visit MeatlessMonday.com or Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health for more information.
