Kansas Association of Homes and Services for the Aging
Founded in 1954, the Kansas Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (KAHSA) represents 160 not-for-profit nursing homes, retirement communities, hospital long-term care units, assisted living facilities, senior housing and community based service providers throughout the state. We are an affiliate of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging. Our mission is to provide services to members to assist them in enhancing the quality of life of the elders they serve. We accomplish this by: influencing public policy; providing leadership on social, economic, and political issues; sharing information, and; promoting networking opportunities.

Kansas Attorney General Phill Kline
Medicaid and Fraud Abuse Division
The Medicaid Fraud and Abuse Division investigates and prosecutes fraud committed by providers in the Medicaid program. The division also reviews complaints and pursues prosecution for the physical abuse or neglect of Medicaid recipients, or misappropriation of their private funds by programs receiving Medicaid funding.
